Covington Elementary School | Kent School District

The Covington Elementary replacement project is a 600-student new school construction project that was trending towards missing the deadline for the arrival of students at the end of August. Hainline was engaged six weeks prior to the opening to provide “boots-on-the-ground” oversight and schedule management.

Hainline immediately identified the three critical areas that required augmentation and shift extensions in order to finish on time. The team also created simple, easy-to-read progress trackers and schedules to focus the team on bite-sized tasks to advance the project in an organized fashion. Hainline’s tracking, daily reporting, constant oversight, and open communication with all of the stakeholders helped bring the project back on track to provide an open and safe school on August 30th.
