Hainline was retained by WSDOT in defense of a large delay and impact claim associated with the 3-mile replacement of SR-520 between Lake Washington and Interstate 405. The dispute exceeded $40 Million. Hainline provided expert analysis and presentations  regarding schedule, entitlement and quantum. Hainline’s assistance was instrumental in avoiding arbitration and/or litigation.
