Conference Center | Washington State Convention Center

Hainline provided Construction Management services for this 117,000 square foot project. The project consisted of gutting the existing space adjacent to the Washington State Convention Center and converting the new space into high-end meeting and flexible exhibit space. 

Hainline managed the project as the owner’s representative from schematic design through to construction closeout. This included such services as writing selection and contracts for GC/CM contractor selection; negotiating and managing the Architect’s contract; preparing concept schedules for the project; managing the interface between AE, Contractor, and WSCC management and facility personnel; performing document quality control reviews at design phases; reporting project status to upper management and the board of directors; negotiating change orders during construction; and overseeing the punchlist and closeout processes.
